Medical Seminars, Inc. arranges seminars for physicians of all specialties. Although most of the destinations are to islands well-known for scuba diving, you do not have to be a diver to attend. The academic program is of interest to all medical specialties. There are four hours of academics offered each day and the remainder of the day is available for other activities. The meetings are usually one week long and destinations include the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the Pacific.

Helen T. Davis is the owner and president of Medical Seminars, Inc. and has been in business for thirty years. She and her staff select the island destination for the meetings, prepare the brochure and handle all the travel arrangements for their clients. Each meeting includes a complete academic program in addition to the dive program. The size of the group ranges from 50 to 140 people per meeting. Helen personally accompanies each group.

The academic program is highly accredited by the American Medical Association through the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, as well as the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Emergency Physicians.

The groups are comprised of physicians from all over the United States and Canada. The majority of our groups are repeat clients. The academic faculty is composed of physicians who are recognized experts in diving medicine, undersea medicine and sports medicine. Most have held the position of president of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, and many are professors at major medical schools.
